The inaugural book in the LLAGNY Book Club will be Susan Orlean’s The Library Book.  The discussion will be held at the New York Law Institute in May 14, 2019 at 6 pm.

The second book will be the winner of the One Book, One New York.    The entries are listed below and if you wish to be part of the decision to pick the book that many New Yorkers will be reading this summer, vote here.   The City of New York will announce the winner on May 3, 2019.   The LLAGNY discussion of this book will be in mid-June.  

The Books

  • Free Food for Millionaires by Min Jin Lee: A strong-willed Queens-born daughter of Korean immigrants is addicted to a glamourous Manhattan lifestyle she can't afford, but is determined to carve a space for herself in the glittering world of NYC.
